my story
I did not choose my tattoo – it chose me. The moment I saw it, I knew it was to be my life message. This is, of course, the symbol for “peace”.
I have come to believe that “peace” is the quintessential expression of faith. It is faith-in-action and can only happen with a true belief in God and His pure love for us. This faith-in-action, peace, requires courage and tenacity, especially when times get tough. We all know that, sooner or later, they always do get tough.
It is easy to be at peace when our lives are comfortable! It takes faith-in-action to be at peace when our life seems to be falling apart.
How we feel this peace and demonstrate this faith is by recognizing that God is in control of all things and we trust Him with all of our heart, regardless of the circumstances that surround us.
