my story
I had my faithmark tattooed on the back of my neck in March of 2014. This was after many years of ups and downs (but mostly downs) in my life. I had always been a strong believer that everything in life happens for a reason.
During the previous years I had experienced an abusive relationship that led to divorce, failing health, and surgeries that nearly ended my life. Through it all, I always had my three beautiful children, my supportive family and friends, and my faith. Throughout this time, I kept reminding myself that everything happens for a reason.
God did not put these people, circumstances, and experiences in my life without there being a reason behind it all. I knew God may not show me just yet what his reasoning was, but in time He would reveal to me why. What is most important, is that I am still alive and God continues to bless me. After all, it is God’s will.
