my story
My tattoo was a symbol of me breaking free from the bonds of my past, including the death of my father. It was also about commitment. I was committing to, and therefore declaring myself for Christ, whether my inner self always wanted to acknowledge it or not.
I chose this specific verse, Psalms 63:3, because it focuses on perspective. Rededication, recommitment, and redirection are all about perspective in our lives – mine centers of the cause of Christ and the Word.
Psalms 63:3 “Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
